We made 12 bags and dropped them off at Children’s Hospital in Knoxville today!
We made bags for young age, middle age, and older children with recommendations from volunteer services.
Included in our bags: Artwork from one of Heartsway Children (Get well cards), Hand written prayer for parents, snacks, coloring and activity books, stickers, pen/crayons, stuffed animal (young), Uno cards and activities (middle) and Uno cards and Fidget spinners (older). We also included colorable King’s Kids bookmarks and Christian education.
We are so excited to make these bags for our local Children’s Hospital. We really hope that they can bring a smile to a child and family during a tough time. We hope to make lasting connections and invite these families to be a part of our King’s Kids ministry!
